Brumby Hall & Gardens, one of Marietta, Georgia's outstanding Greek Revival houses is located on the grounds of the Marietta Conference Center & Resort, offers the perfect setting for the casual corporate outings, family gatherings, as well as, formal black tie receptions and weddings. Brumby Hall, built in 1851 and registered with the National Registrar of Historic Places is an ideal location for intimate dinners or social receptions.
Brumby Hall was built by Colonel Anoldus VanderHorst Brumby, the superintendent of the Georgia Military Institute and is the only remaining building on the site of the old campus. The fully restored home features five rooms plus a solarium, each furnished with antique and period furniture.
The Gardens are picture-perfect with seasonal bloom that peaks during the spring and summer months. Two acres of formal gardens include the Topiary Garden, the Boxwood Garden, the Rose Garden, the Perennial and the Knot Garden. Flowering trees such as magnolia grandiflora and frothy fountains provide a beautiful foreground to a scenic view of Kennesaw Mountain and create the ideal background for memorable occasions.
